Inventor & Health Innovation Leader

Before turning his focus to healthcare and wellness, Mladen founded and developed a cloud-based mobile platform that was one of the pioneering on-demand labor platforms of what is now the massive gig economy. His primary mission was to ensure that workers were treated fairly and compensated well. Prior to its acquisition, nearly 100,000 individuals worked more than two million event hours through the platform, earning an average of more than $22 per hour—well above typical compensation for freelance event labor. Mladen has always believed that putting “people before profits” into a business model can create stronger companies, greater long-term success, and a deeper sense of purpose.

M's passion for design and fashion has also played an important role in his entrepreneurial journey. He combined his personal interests with his desire to create positive social impact, developing a cause-related community initiative that brought together celebrities and influencers to help raise awareness around ending violence against women. Participants included Kelly Ripa, Gabrielle Union, Hilary Duff, and many others, with coverage across E! News, InStylePeopleUs Weekly, and other major media outlets.

His work in design and fashion also earned national recognition when Esquire Magazine named Mladen the Best Dressed Man in America, leading to his first appearance on The Today Show. For Mladen, the experience reinforced a belief that great design has the power to capture attention, create connection, and elevate an idea—and that philosophy continues to influence the products and companies he builds today.
